Affording our Student Scholars the Opportunity to Earn a High School Diploma

Student scholar academic success is our goal.

Marion Academy is a 6th-12th grade school that will afford at-risk students, who have fallen off the traditional academic path, the opportunity to earn a Core-40 high school diploma.

Our scholars will likely come to the school with a history of behavioral issues, having been adjudicated at the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center (MCJDC), serving an expulsion, or being at-risk of expulsion. As such, the school will focus not only on student academic success as goals to help drive its mission, but also consider positive student behavior as a critical performance goal. In many cases, poor student behavior has been the barrier to student academic success.

All students are welcome to apply for enrollment at Marion Academy.
